The Preamble

Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism.

The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking.

There are no dues or fees for A.A. membership; we are self-supporting through our own contributions.

A.A. is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization or institution; does not wish to engage in any controversy, neither endorses nor opposes any causes.

Our primary purpose is to stay sober and help other alcoholics to achieve sobriety.

Articles Needed

Please help out with our newsletter by submitting articles for the Sober Messenger newsletter. Articles should be approximately 700 words long. Contact the Intergroup Office for more information if interested.

Service Work at the Intergroup Office

If you have one year or more of continuous sobriety and wish to be of service, please apply. Volunteers on standby to fill shifts in case of a vacancy are always welcomed. Contact the Intergroup Office for more information.

How to get a FLYER out in the Monthly Mailing

If you would like to have a flyer included with the monthly mailing, it must be received at the Intergroup Office by 4:30pm on the 18th of the month and be accompanied by either:

235 copies of the flyer plus $10 for the postage

or ONE flyer plus $20 for copying(black & white) and postage.
